Niemann confirmed for International Series India presented by DLF

Joaquin Niemann, the champion of the International Series Rankings, has been officially announced as a participant in the International Series India presented by DLF, a tournament with a prize fund of US$2 million set to take place at the DLF Golf and Country Club next month.

The Chilean golfer, who leads Torque GC in the LIV Golf League, will compete alongside reigning US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau from the United States and Indian star Anirban Lahiri in this inaugural event, scheduled for January 30 to February 2 at the renowned course in Gurugram.

Earlier this month, Niemann secured the US$5 million PIF Saudi International powered by SoftBank Investment Advisers, clinching the rankings title in the final event of the season. He won in an exciting playoff at Riyadh Golf Club, narrowly defeating Australian Cam Smith and American Caleb Surratt.

This victory capped off an impressive season for the 26-year-old, who also finished as the runner-up in the LIV Golf League individual standings after winning two of the first three tournaments of the season.

The International Series India presented by DLF marks the first tournament of 2025 in The International Series, which consists of ten events on the Asian Tour that provide a pathway to the LIV Golf League.
